Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Territory Sales Manager to lead sales efforts in the Los Angeles region. This role involves developing strategic business plans to drive product adoption and establish our portfolio as the standard of care in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will excel in relationship building, strategic planning, and leveraging customer insights to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exceed territory sales targets by engaging with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders regularly.
  • Design and implement strategic business plans to enhance product penetration in the market.
  • Expand existing client relationships and cultivate new accounts through innovative sales strategies and compelling product presentations.
  • Utilize CRM tools to document and track interactions with key clients and decision-makers.
  • Analyze data from varied sources to identify market opportunities and direct sales initiatives effectively.
  • Update sales strategies based on competitive insights and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and promote best practices.
  • Lead and mentor a team, focusing on performance improvement, goal setting, and quality outcomes.
  • Attend relevant sales meetings and professional conferences across the US to align with broader sales and marketing strategies.
  • Embody professionalism, integrity, and teamwork in all interactions and communications.

Performance Metrics:

  • Achievement of designated sales quotas and profitability targets.
  • Fulfillment of strategic customer objectives as defined by management.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated expertise in territory or account management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in sales, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems such as Salesforce preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet healthcare facility credentialing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in clinical settings.
  • Established relationships with surgeons or gastroenterologists.
  • Strong connections with major accounts within the territory.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Over 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record in promoting complex products within oncology, gastroenterology, or diagnostics sectors.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • Full-time, remote position with a requirement to travel 75% of the time, including potential overnight or weekend travel.
  • May involve prolonged periods of sedentary work requiring computer use.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for approximately 20% of the working day.
